The author of this blog Bonni Elizabeth Hall, a fairly opinionated and reasonably well-read forty-something woman who lives happily in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia with her husband and their two children. She also runs a small mail-order business selling jewellery, perfumes, some leather goods, and various other things that you probably don't need but which you know you want.

Bonni has long had a passion for perfumes, one of the few truly girly things she enjoys (along with pretty, sparkly jewellery and nail polish, although the latter is mostly limited to collecting almost infinite supplies of the stuff and rarely wearing it).

This blog came about because Bonni feared she was boring readers of her personal weblog with too many entries about perfume and because, let's face it, publicity is not a bad thing, and blogs can be good for getting publicity. Please don't assume, however, that this blog is nothing more than a means of selling perfumes! This blog is an expression of a personal and professional interest in perfumery, nothing more or less.
