We've decided to list some perfumes on one of Australia's own up-and-coming sales and auction sites, Oztion. Just in time for Mother's Day, and Oztion are currently running a Mother's Day special contest, so do check it out.

Well, the order for our first lot of pashmina shawls has been put in. We're having them made at the factory in Nepal, and importing directly. I've ordered large shawls (I love the big ones, they're so warm and comfy!), 30% silk and 70% pashmina (I think they "wear" a bit better than the pure pashmina, though it is very luxurious), very good quality. We've ordered in a variety of colours, nothing too bright (though I can order hundreds of colours, so I can get them in if I want to).

We've already got someone who wants one, so that's a pretty good start. Here's hoping that the line does well. We may well be the only stockist in Australia who offers the proper big shawls, not just the scarves or stoles!

If you look to the right hand column on this page, you'll see a nifty new feature. The last several entries from The Perfume Blog are now displayed, and it's dynamic (it checks the RSS feed for that blog every two hours). By the same token, The Perfume Blog has a dynamically updated display of recent entries on this blog, as well.

The new shopping cart has an RSS feed, naturally, so we'll also be piping in the latest items as they're added to the shop, partly to let regular customers know "what's new" and partly - let's admit it - to make it easy for Google and other web spiders to find the shop and the items in it. (We're working especially hard at making sure the shop is extremely search engine friendly!)
