Q: Are all of your items genuine?

A: YES! All of our items are genuine and are as described, to the very best of our ability. We don't sell fakes, knockoffs, or counterfeits. We acquire our merchandise only from reputable, trusted, reliable sources. We don't want to buy fakes and counterfeits, and we don't certainly don't want to sell them!

Q: How do you sell for such low prices?

A: We work hard to cultivate good business relationships with suppliers, plus we have low overheads. No commerical store lease, no expensive display cases or fancy lighting, no public liability insurance, direct-to-the public sales.

Q: Are all of your items in stock in Australia?

A: Yes, everything we offer for sale is in stock and in our possession. We don't drop ship and we don't sell on behalf of other companies for a commission. Your item will be packaged and shipped by us via Australia Post, usually the day following receipt of payment.

Q: I don't recognize your credit union, so how can I make a deposit payment?

A: We recommend using online banking, but you should be able to make a deposit to our credit union account through your own bank. Just take in the details we supply you and your bank can do the rest.

Q: Why don't you have PayPal listed as a payment option?

A: Please remember that PayPal is not an Australian company, and not only do they do not offer any kind of reasonable seller protection to Australians, it is a documented fact that PayPal does not accept most valid forms of Australian postage/shipping as proof of postage or delivery (such as registered post). Accepting PayPal is a huge risk for any Australian seller. We therefore don't encourage people to use it to pay us.

Q: What is Paymate?

A: Paymate is an Australian payment processing company. They are safe, secure, and licensed by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) as an Australian Financial Services Licensee. There is no membership required for you, the buyer, if you choose to pay with credit card through Paymate (although there is a small fee which is allowable under Australian law, and over which we have no control).

Q: How can I pay at Australia Post?

A: First, this is only available if you have a total of AU$20 or more (including postage). The service comes with a small service fee, as well (both of these requirements are Australia Post, not us!). If you wish to pay this way, we'll give you a barcode coupon that you can print out and take to any Australia Post that offers giroPost/Bank-at-Post. You pay, they deposit, we normally get the payment the same day or early the next, and we ship your purchase!

Q: What is required to legally ship perfumes?

A: Alcohol-based perfumes are legally classified as Class III Dangerous Liquids. They are flammable, with a high alcohol content and a low flashpoint, and by international law they require special shipping considerations.

We have a Dangerous Goods contract with Australia Post and we ship our perfumes in compliance with international law and Australia Post Regulations regarding the shipment hazardous materials. This is not a claim that can be made truthfully by most overseas sellers of perfume, or by many domestic ones. Please be careful. We certainly are!
